The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History focuses on the flora, fauna and geology of California's west cost. Exhibits include rare gems and native Indian artifacts.
The museum is also home to the Gladwin Planetarium which features an assortment of presentations.
The main building of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is located near the Santa Barbara Mission at 2559 Puesta del Sol. The museum also owns and operates the Sea Centre on Stearns Wharf (above photo).
